SummitQwest Gives Back

At SummitQwest we believe that active service within the communities we live and work is not only instrumental to the success of our firm, but is also our social responsibility as corporate citizens. Our service is an investment in and commitment to the development of strong communities, and we believe we can be agents to enact change, improve lives, and foster lasting relationships. Our goal is to live the words of our core value of "Actively participating individually and corporately in our local communities," and we meet this goal by proudly supporting the following not-for-profit organizations:

Hannah's Treasure Chest

Hannah's Treasure Chest is a nonprofit organization which enriches the lives of children in need by providing clothing, furniture, and toys. SummitQwest has provided volunteers for building projects as well as organizing donations

St. Vincent Hotel in Dayton, Ohio

St. Vincent Hotel provides food, clothing, household items, emergency shelter, transition and permanent housing, and other services to indigent, low income, and homeless men, women and children in the Miami Valley. SummitQwest provides volunteers to cook meals, stock the pantry, as well as organizing starter kits for people in transition to either temporary or permanent housing.

Our Daily Bread in Cincinnati, Ohio

Our Daily Bread provides a warm meal in a safe place to poor and mentally ill people in Cincinnati. They serve upwards of 400 people daily. SummitQwest serves meals to these individuals.

Butler County Children's Services

SummitQwest has provided duffle bags filled with toiletries, towels, socks, pillows, and other items of necessity to children who are in Butler County's foster care program. In most cases, children in foster care do not have anything that they can call their own and SummitQwest provides these children with their own personal items.

Marine Bravo Company, 3rd Platoon and Wounded Warrior Project

SummitQwest supports this platoon of brave Marines who are serving our country in overseas locations by sending monthly care packages. We are also a corporate supporter of the Wounded Warrior Project which provides needed support for wounded heroes as they transition back into their communities.

CityCURE in the Greater Cincinnati, Ohio Area

In the greater Cincinnati area SummitQwest's supports "CityCURE," which is a youth outreach ministry whose mission is "Breaking the cycle of urban despair, one life at a time". CityCURE accomplishes this through relationships with caring adults and innovative programs, from sports to tutoring, music and dance, and X-treme Adventures outdoor activities. X-treme Adventures HorsePower gives disadvantaged youth the opportunity to experience the wonder of horses in a peaceful country setting. By pairing each child with a horse or pony and a mentor, this unique program helps participants learn to develop relationships built on trust, respect and commitment. It enhances cooperation, empathy and communication, teaches the benefits of hard work and perseverance, and helps kids to overcome fears and develop confidence and competence in their lives."
